The Floral Design committee offers the opportunity to learn and practice the art of Floral Design. The committee provides programs, workshops, and demonstrations which teach the basic principles and elements of design such as form, balance, texture, scale, and color as they relate to the many different styles of Floral Design. GCA Floral Design rules and requirements for Flower Show Exhibitions are presented. The Floral Design Committee stages two judged club shows annually which showcase members’ designs. Members are also encouraged to exhibit in outside events such as zone shows, museum art-in-bloom exhibitions and major flower shows.
